Brighten Lives is a non-profit organisation and qualifies thus as a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) in terms of Section 30 of the Income Tax Act. We are approved for purposes of Section 18A (I)(a)  and donations to the organisation are tax deductible in the hands of donors, in terms of and subject to, the limitations prescribed in the aforementioned Act.
